Adrian Mole- Diary Entry

I had been introduced to the character, Adrian Mole by my Literature teacher a few weeks ago. Adrian Mole is a fictional character created by Sue Townsend. Adrian is a normal teenage boy who is 13 3/4 years old.He likes to count his age using fractions.He is silly and exaggerating. His silliness made his diary humorous. He is always exaggerating the situation. He is also very dependent on other for his needs especially his mother. He treats his mother like a maid who is always there to attend to his needs. He had never thought of learning to take care of himself and be independent.He is to reliable on others. When his mother told him that she is looking for a job outside he was like thinking that his mother is useless and could not do anything useful but could only take care of the housechores at home and taking care of his needs.He even said that his mother is selfish. I think he himself is selfish when he said that. As a teenager he had the responsibility to take care of himself and not waiting somebody to attend to his needs. Even though he knew that his parents were divorcing and he don't seemed to care much.As for his love life, he had a crush on a girl named Pandora. He often wrote about his inner feelings towards Pandora in his secret diary. Although he had been self-centred, he somehow is humourous in his actions and his language he used to write in his diary.

Anne Frank-Diary Entry

I read about Anne Frank in class for Literature lessons, Im now telling you wat are my opinion of Anne Frank.Anne Frank is a very independent girl. Somehow, she could take great care of herself. She had no true friends so she started to write her own diary. She also believes that paper have more patience than people so she could confide her feelings only towarda paper.Her attitude towards the Nazy's Occupation tells me that she had been a restless girl.She is a girl who loves freedoom, she could go anywhere she likes there is no restriction at all. Now she couldn't go anywhere except for barbr shops or beauty salons that are owned by Jews.Jews were not alowed to ride in cars even thier own. All this indicates that she really had no freedom at all.Sometimes when she is writing her diary, she would somehow exaggerate the situation for example when she wrote in her diary that she had a throng of admirers who can't keep thier adoring eyes off her but in my opinion, i guess she's being exaggerating. She exaggerating the situation maybe she thought that she is clever therfore the boys felt initimated by her. When she is hiding in thier Secret Annexe she had always observed the everyone except his father's behavior.She thinks that everyone is being very selfish except herself and her father.I do not think this is fair for the others.
